 A mysterious woman arrives in the town of Trinidad looking for her
past. After years of imprisonment for a crime she did not commit, the
beautiful widow Alicia Guardiola returns to claim her twin boys, who
are being raised by their grandmother, the feared and respected
Perfecta Albarracin. Perfecta has no intention of giving up her
grandchildren without a fight, and enlists her son, the handsome Diego
Blanco, to help her. On opposite sides of a battle to claim two
precocious boys who share dreams and magical powers, Alicia and Diego
find themselves falling in love, without even suspecting the dark
consequences a relationship between them will bring.

Itatí Cantoral as Alicia Guardiola
Alicia Guardiola is a heart-whole woman since she had to cope with various problems: she widowed too early as a young woman and she suffered a lot. She was accused of murdering her own husband and when she released she went to search for her sons. She is too eager to find her place in this world and live up as a happy woman in a family. Doña Perfecta is quite opposite her intentions, though. Alicia has to make efforts to find her twins overcoming too many obstacles. She is aimed to make up for leeway. She finally ends falling in love with her husband’s brother.
Francisco Gattorno as Sebastián Blanco
Sebastián Blanco is a man of education. He is self-assured and well-mannered He comes back home by the request of his mother when his brother is killed. He undertakes responsibilities of the twins’ adoptive father and when Alicia appears he prevents from the family uniting. With the lapse of time and permanent accuses he realizes that he fights with the naïve and very attractive woman who just wants to get back the twins’ love. Sebastián Blanco is keen on music and women. He feels affection about Alicia and he ends in falling in love with her. His mother does not approve these relations and he has to confront her.
Lilibeth Morillo as Hayde Blanco
Hayde is a very obedient and passive woman who lives under suppression of her mother. She is highly sensitive and she decides to devote herself to music not to provoke her mother. She becomes an extravert woman trying to exert attention of various men at public places. Her mother is hurt that her daughter deceived her pretending she is a naive and gender girl.
Zharick León as Iluminada Urbina
Iluminada is an average woman with average knowledge on everything. She lives a life when all conveniences are at her disposal and her only goal in this life is to conquer Sebastián Blanco and marry him.She apparently hates all women affected by Sebastián and willing to be his beloved. She intends to go so far until she is fine.
