The plot covers a lot of years. The love between Marisela, a rich heiress and Fernando, an agent, is contrasted by: Marisela's father Miguel, Mercedes, who is Fernando's sister, Jorge, who will commit suicide and Paula, who is Marisela's sister. A baby Angel, deaf and dumb is adopted by Marisela's parents. Marisela is pregnant and on the marriage day with Fernando, Mercedes kills them. The heroine of the second part of the story is Ana, who is their daughter. She returns from Europe and she has her best friend Sandy. This one is engaged to Tomas, but in reality she loves Sebastian. Ana is engaged to Diego and she would like a relation with Angel, but she has some prejudices. At the end we see Aurora and Tomas together and Ana with Angel, who saves her from Mercedes's murder attempt. Mercedes thought Ana as Marisela.

This is the best telenovela I have ever watched. The plot was great and the actors as well. I watched it on the italian television, dubbed in italian. I don't know if it was a success here, but for me it sure was a masterpiece.
