San Martin de Porres was born in Lima in the XVI century. His father
Hidalgo was white and his mother Ana was black. From his infancy Martin
shows a great religious vocation and he wants to become a priest, but
the color of his skin obstructs his dreams... But Martin becomes a
layman at a local monastery. He is famous for his miracles, his
saintliness, his kindness and his work. Frey Escoba was his name. It is
the real story of the patron of mulattos and slaves.
