Lucia is a young woman that has an incurable disease. She has artistic
qualities: she plays piano and sings great. But due to her disease and
due to a violence that she suffered when she was a child she is
listless, depressed, and timid in the love affairs. Lucia meets and
falls in love with Andres who is tied up to Silvia. This one is married
to Alfonso. Silvia has a platonic affair with Andres. Ana is Alfonso's
mother, she is a tyrant and possessive woman, she hates Silvia and she
wants to separate her from Alfonso, but her adoptive daughter Lorena is
against it. Laura is a social climber, perverse and calculating. She
hates Lucia but her enemy is Lourdes.
