A "Little Orphan Annie" story; Luz Clarita is a little girl raised by her grandmother, who unfortunately is very sick and soon dies, leaving her orphaned to be raised by nuns. "Daddy Warbucks" appears as Don Mariano a rich, handsome widower who is looking for a companion for his daughter. He goes to the orphanage where he finds Luz Clarita (a little enchantress whom everyone loves). Mariano brings her to his mansion, where she receives a less-than-warm welcome from his hard'hearted and conceited daughter, Mariela. One of Luz Clarita's best friends is Soledad - an amnesiac, whose only clues to her past are brief glimpses in dreams. She is the cook in the orphanage. Soledad's kind heart and beauty touch more than just Luz Clarita - especially when Mariano first meets her. Soledad, Mariano, Mariela and Luz Clarita may find in one another the pieces missing from each of their lives.
