Paulino Cordova, Gabino Roura, Rodolfo Huerta and Matías Quiroga have
been friends since childhood, but as they grow up their priorities
change, and a sin threatens to destroy their friendship. Paulino is the
owner of the estate "Milagro" (Miracle Field) and an apple producer, he
is married to Rosario and has two children Caesar and Lucrecia.
Rosario has always shown her predilection for males and an open rejection of her daughter. Lucrecia was taken care by Delfina, maid of Rosario and mother of Manuel. Lucrecia and Manuel considered themselves to be brother and sister, because Delfina breastfed them both. Lucrecia's best friend is Julian Huerta; they have the same tastes and affection to each other which over the years becomes love. Gabino Roura is a shrewd and ambitious man who kills his wife Agnes to get the fortune. Gabino manipulates his friends and children, Caramel and Teresa. He becomes the owner of the best farmland, which brings income to Paulino, and he wants to control distribution and marketing of apples.
Rodolfo is a teacher in the town San Pedro; he is a very honest and hard working man. His wife Justina is a very attractive woman which is unsatisfied by what her husband gives her. They have two children Julian and Joshua ... Justina Almada triggered serious conflicts that threaten to destroy friendlship of Rodolfo and Gabino Paulino. Matías Quiroga is a priest of the village; he feels anguish because his friends are enemies and this made an obstacle to the love of Lucrecia and Julian. Unfortunately for both, they get involved in an accident in which Caesar died.
And though they are innocent, Rosario thinks they are responsible for this. In depression Rosario stops supporting his daughter. Rosario’s offence forces Paulino to move his daughter far away from the family of Rodolfo Huerta. Since then Julian has a bad reputation among the people and gets nickname “Devil” that sticks to him for the rest of his life. As years pass, Julian and Lucrecia reunite and their love is reborn. Their parents are against it, but in spite of this they are they are ready to fight for their love. They have support of Delfina, her husband Modesto and Manuel who helps them to become happy.
Modesto is a foreman of “Milafro” he grows corn and has a happy family with Manuel and Delfina. Lucrecia does not accompany Renata, her cousin. Envious girl is ready to grab everything that belongs to Lucrecia. Paulino suffers an economic crisis and this requires Gabino to marry Lucrecia. Caramel kills his father. Julian is wrongly accused of this crime. Lucrecia is obliged to marry Caramel to avoid the ruin of her father. Julian is convinced that Lucrecia betrayed him. Lucrecia is not happy with Caramel, and they lost the farm "Milagro". Then there appears a stranger who buys the farm. Lucrecia learns that this stranger is Julian Huerta ... Carmelo gets to know that Julian is back and the war breaks out between them for the love of Lucrecia. This story takes place amid stunning scenery such as "Lagunas de Monte Bello", National Park "Las Nubes", the waterfalls of Agua Azul and old, colorful and beautiful San Cristóbal de las Casas ". Lucrecia and Julian fight to prove that their love is strong and durable.
