Serafín is a happy and good-natured little angel, although he does have one slight flaw: he is very mischiveous. One day, he manages to get into deep trouble and is sent to Earth to learn to be a Guardian Angel. When he arrives in Mexico City, he is really frightened and, not knowing what else to do, he finds shelter-and unexpected help-in an old abandoned house. A boy named Pepe lives in this city with his mother Carmen, his grandfather Joaquín, and his stepfather Raúl.
Carmen is a hard-working young woman who loves her son dearly and does
her best to give him a decent life. Raúl, on the other hand dislikes
and mistreats him. Grandfather Joaquín is an inventor who creates all
sorts of gadgets in his laboratory in his attempt to improve his
family's financial condition. In spite of all his problems, Pepe is a
very happy little boy because he has a fantastic group of friends. They
are Guampi, Cachito, Pancho, Tomás, Risitas and Edy. They have
boys-only club that Lulú is anxious to join. Together they have many
thrilling adventures and are always happy. That is, until one day a
misterious and his two sidekicks, Roque and Aníbal, move into the
abandoned house. Nobody suspects that this man is Lucio Fernández, an
agent of evil. His mission is to wipe out every last trace of love from
the face of the earth, and he is prepared to destroy any angel or child
who dares get in his way, since they are the embodiment of innocence,
friendship and love.
