First part: Victoria and Mauricio Castellanos' marriage appeared to be perfect; but Victoria lived tormented by her husband's unfounded jealousy. The famous painter Julio Granados, was signaled out by destiny to ignite the conflict which will drive Victoria to try to escape. The train where Victoria is traveling crashes and everyone believes she is dead. Specially, Mauricio who is consumed by bitterness with the loss of his wife. However, Victoria survives the terrible accident, and after escaping from the hands of Rex, her deranged captor who mistakes her for his estranged wife, she returns home, only to find that her husband and two children have left the country without leaving a trace. Desperate, Victoria searches for her lost family, a search that will last 10 long years, during which she will become a theater actress known as Amparo Rivas.
Second part: After Gilda killed Mauricio, Victoria and Mauricio’s
family are destroyed. But they don’t know that Gilda is still alive
because she faked her own death helped by a doctor from the jail.
Ursula thinks that Victoria killed Mauricio and blames her that she
caused only bad things to her family. After that Gilda makes a fire at
the Castellanos’ home in which Ursula almost dies. But Martin knows
that Gilda is still alive and he monitors her apartment and her phone
calls. When she finds out about it, she kills Martin but at the same
time arrives Olmos, and she shot him in his arm. But everybody knows
about it and now they understand who killed Mauricio and who made the
fire. But Gilda will not rest until she will kill Victoria, her worst
enemy.
